Guy has been working in IT and Cyber Security for over twenty years. He holds the peer reviewed Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from the prestigious International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2. Recently, Guy has also earned the CMMC Certified Practitioner (CCP) certificate to address the growing demand for government contractor compliance with new security standards. He is a proven leader in cyber security industry serving as Director of Cybersecurity for a growing government contracting company and Cybersecurity Engineer for one of the biggest privately owned Software as a Service provider in the Agriculture industry . A retired combat veteran of over twenty years in the Marine Corps infantry and Delaware Army National Guard, Guy has proudly served his country and brings that dedication and commitment to excellence to your business. Matt, our cyber security technician, has apprenticed under Guy for many years coming up surrounded by cyber security and hacking culture. He is becoming an expert on web vulnerabilities , point of sale systems, and business networks. Our Commitment to Community

We Know Cyber has built into its very charter to support communities by teaching skills in Information Technology and Security to under-served segments of our community in Wilmington and Newark. We also provide select charitable organizations with Cyber Security services such as; penetration testing, network security, audits, data recovery, and incident response all free of charge. 10% of our effort goes into these projects because we feel connected to our communities and want to strengthen them with skills and cyber defense. Lauren Beward

Lauren has been working in Business and Information Technology for over 7 years. She brings an eye for detail and “doing things right” to the company. While advising our team, Lauren is also pursuing her Master of Science in Information Systems to enhance her understanding of systems and network security. Additionally, Lauren volunteers many hours every week in various non-profit organizations in Maryland. We’re delighted to have her advising us on both business and in support of our chartered commitment to charitable organizations that make up the heart of We Know Cyber.

Matthew E. Carey, Esq.

A graduate of University of Delaware and Drexel Law, Matthew is a combat veteran and currently serves in the Air Force as an Attorney. Matthew brings his knowledge and experience from the legal field to advise We Know Cyber on strategic goals and risk mitigation. While he does not represent the company as legal counsel, he offers his leadership and legal acumen in an advisory capacity.

Matthew M. Gonzales MSIT, MSAST

An Army veteran and Cyber Security Engineer, Matthew contributes his knowledge, experience, and network of professional colleagues to strengthen We Know Cyber. He holds several graduate degrees, serves as Adjunct Professor of Information Security at UMUC and is a Doctoral Candidate contributing to the business and academic communities in the area of cybersecurity. Matthew has two passions; cybersecurity and education- a perfect fir for a business like ours benefiting your business as well.
